Heaven Hill Farm’s The Great Pumpkin Festival
This famous festival is one of Northern New Jersey’s largest fall festivals. The festival features an amazing corn maze that will sure keep you winding, turning, twirling and enjoying the adventure. The 10-acre maize quest corn maze has pathways, picture rubbings and questions and answers that will keep you engaged. The Great Pumpkin festival is also characterized by 30 fun-filled activities, including Lincoln Log Cabin builder and visiting farm animals and pig racing among others. The event kicks off at the Heaven Hill Farm Cernon NJ on the 14th of September 2019, from 10 am – 5 pm and charges are $15 per person.
Downbeach Seafood Festival
The Downbeach Seafood Festival is every seafood lover’s fantasy. The festival features an amazing display of seafood dishes from over 25 regional and local restaurants. There is a tasting tent that serves Jersey made wine and craft beers as well as local artists displaying their art, live music, a chowder cook-off, a crab cake eating competition and a number of kid’s activities like sand sculpting. Downbeach Seafood Festival is a great opportunity for foodies to interact with Atlantic County’s top chefs while they feast on their tasty food. The event starts on Saturday the 7th of September 2019 at Ski Beach Dorset Ave &Burk Ave, from 11 am – 7 pm. Charges are $10 per person.
Scandinavian Fest
Scan Fest is a day of celebrating all things Scandinavian- the rich history, customs and the ethnic variations of the six Nordic nations namely, Estonia, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Iceland.t The event features also features a number of fun activities for all to enjoy including field contests and norse ‘kubb” game as well as entertainment from local, international, national and regional talents across 6 different stages. The event will take place in Budd Lake, 1st of September.
Arts in the Park
The Arts in the Park festival brings in art lovers from around the region to enjoy the arts and crafts sale and juried art show that takes place in downtown Highland Park, New Jersey. If you are an art enthusiast, this is the event for you. There is live music, food from local restaurants, promotional booths as well as other artistic offerings. The juried art show allows participants to display and sell their art under tents along the Raritan Avenue. The event will kick off on the 22nd of September 2019 at Raritan Avenue (Route 27) from 11:30 am – 04:30 pm.
Apple Days Fall Harvest Festival
The Apple Days Fall Harvest Festival features seven weekends of fall family fun. Among the activities you can be involved in at the festival include: Live music from noon-4pm every Saturday and Sunday, Sampling foods at the fall food fare, including fresh pies and BBQ chicken and wine tasting at the winery tasting room among other activities.
