Nothing brings in spring like new opportunities. The North Central Jersey School of Business has embraced this train of thought.
What Can Such a Course Offer?
Licensing exams for businesses can cause loads of stress and panic, especially when an individual feels under-prepared for the accompanying pressure. This does not have to be the case! The North Central Jersey School of Business’ 75-hour pre-licensing course covers the principles and concepts needed to pass the real estate licensing exam in New Jersey.
What Are the Requirements for Licensing?
The New Jersey Department of Banking & Insurance provides a list of requirements for becoming a real estate salesperson or broker. There are four surface factors for the salesperson license: an individual must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, complete a 75-hour pre-licensure course at a licensed school, and pass the licensing exam.
This does not complete the process, however. An individual must then apply for a license through a broker. There are judgments of character as well: an applicant must demonstrate his/her honesty, trustworthiness, and integrity throughout the process. To become a broker, an individual must be a salesperson first, in addition to other factors.
Why is it a Good Idea to Take a Pre-Licensing Real Estate Course?
As stated above, a pre-licensing course is a necessity in the licensing process in New Jersey. Even if you are not positive that real estate is in your future, such a course provides skills that would be useful in everyday life. The process of buying a house would be much easier with the background in real estate! It is still a good idea to get the advice of an experienced field agent as well.
Opportunities
Spring is the season where more classes will be offered. It is the perfect time to go through the licensing process: it is not so cold that it’s difficult to convince yourself to go to class, nor is it so warm you would rather be outside. Plus, with any luck you will complete licensing in time to gain experience during the prime real estate season.
How Do You Find Opportunities?
Specify the region you wish to be in and Voila! Lots of choices. But remember to do deep research. To become a licensed real estate agent in New Jersey, the school has to be licensed for the course to be accepted within the process.
