From outstanding natural beauty and national parks to fine historic sites and museums, this state is worth exploring. Some of the attractions you will find here include the Atlantic City and the Boardwalk, Old Victorian Cape May, Liberty State Park, and more.

Apart from the beautiful towns in New Jersey and their countless attractions, perhaps the primary highlight of visiting this state is the NJ events that take place every year in different locations. In case you will be in this exceptional destination in November, below are some of the events you can attend and have fun:

The Great Pumpkin Festival

The Great Pumpkin Festival is an annual event that takes place in New Jersey every year and is one of the NJ events that draws millions of people drawn from different parts of the world. It is the largest fall festival that serves lots of family-friendly fun and excitement on the farm. This event features tons of farm activities, including hayrides. This year, the event will go down at the Heaven Hill Farm, 451 State Route 94, Vernon on November 2 & 3, starting from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. The entrance fee is $15, but children aged two years and below will get in free of charge.

Dickens Days

Dickens Days is undoubtedly one of the best events in Central Jersey. During this event, enjoy a breathtaking stroll through downtown Clinton and get up close and personal with performers playing Charles Dickens, Father Christmas, and Scrooge. Here, you will find lots of holiday lights, live music, and decorations – not to mention horse-drawn carriage rides that will give you an experience of a lifetime. The event will take place at Main Street, Clinton, on November 29 to December 1 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Entry is free for all! There is no better way to kick off the Christmas season than attending the Dicken Days!

El Dia De Los Muertos

If you love the Mexican culture, the El Dia de Los Muertos will provide you with a great way to end the year. This event celebrates the ancient Mexican holiday. This event features lots of activities, including face painting, sugar skull decorating, folk arts and crafts, strolling mariachis, and more. It will take place on November 2 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Princeton Shopping Center, 301 N. Harrison Street, Princeton. Entry is free for all. Don’t shy from bringing the young ones along since this is one of the family-friendly NJ events.

Fall Festival

Fall Festival ideal for animal lovers. In this event, you will visit a farm where you will interact with various farm animals, including bunnies, donkeys, chickens, alpacas, miniature, and more. There are tons of fun activities which include pony rides and hayrides. There is also a farm market stand where you can buy fresh produce. The event will take place on November 1 from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm and on November 2 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at Norz Hill Farm, 120 South Branch Road, Hillsborough.

New Jersey Vegan Food Festival

If you are a vegan looking to learn about this lifestyle, you need to attend the New Jersey Food Festival. You will find everything vegan in this event from food and a myriad of plant-based products. It will take place at Meadowlands Expo Center, 355 Plaza Drive, Secaucus, on November 16 and 17 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
