South Hackensack is a township located in Bergen County, New Jersey. It was formed as a township to replace Lodi Township on November 15, 1935, following an act of parliament by the New Jersey Legislature. South Hackensack has an estimated population of 2,378 residents and the ZIP code: 07606. Its name is derived from its location relative to Hackensack, the county seat of Bergen County.
