- The Hermitage: This is a fourteen-room Gothic Revival house museum that was built in 1847. The house has housed a number of notable revolutionaries including Alexander Hamilton, Aaron Burr and George Washington. They have fun programs and the staff is very knowledgeable and welcoming. There are great walking tours that start in the afternoon where you can ask any questions you might have about the history of the grounds.
