Annual Hop Sauce Festival
This family-friendly festival features over 50 craft beers and 100 hot sauces, with a dose of live band entertainment and other fun activities. The focus on hot sauce and brew is also paired with cultural vendors, original music, and local fare. A portion of the revenue goes to the non-profit Jetty Rock Foundation, which uses the fund to enhance the community to help the needy and facilitate youth initiatives.
Big Greek Festival
The annual Big Greek Festival has been around for almost five decades, and it continues to be the most anticipated event in NJ’s calendar. Due to be held from 7th to 9th of June, the festival offers rich cultural tastes and heritage of Greece. Try everything Greek right from fresh delicacies to Greek liquors and wines. There will be live Greek music performed by The Echodrasi Band. Don’t miss out all the fun with the GOYA Greek Folk Dancers as well!
Clifton Food Truck Festival
It’s time to join the food extravaganza, with an extra serving of music, beer, and delicacies. The Clifton Food Truck Festival is a fun-filled family event offering more than 20 gourmet food trucks, kid’s activities, vendors, sangria garden, and beer. Guests are cordially invited to bring their friends, blankets and lawn chairs. You can also support St Peter’s Haven food pantry by bringing a boxed or non-perishable food item with you.
The Mars Essex Horse Trials Country Weekend
This is one incredible weekend event to be held in Far Hills, staring 23rd of June. The horse triathlon is the most thrilling equestrian sport, in which the rider and horse pairs compete across three disciplines. Apart from the precision and beauty, you will find the beautiful bond between the rider and horse. Additionally, you will have a kid’s activity center, an extraordinary car show, local fresh-food vendors, and the market displaying some of the best country-living merchandise in the area.
Beachstock 2019
With new performances, new activities, and new music, the 2019 Beachstock returns to Margrate Beach on the 29th of June. Currently in its 9th year, the event promises to be an exciting one. You can learn to hula and limbo with proficient dancers from the South Pacific Island Dancers. If you want to learn more about wonderful sea creatures, go to the Sustainable Downbeach Environment Beach Walk. You can enjoy non-stop music and learn some dancing as well.
The latest addition is the BAGGO tournament, where players of all abilities can compete for some great rewards. Some of the key highlights include fire dancer performances, a bonfire, margarita and beer garden, sand sculpting lessons, local retailers, vendors, and lifeguard competitions. You can enjoy a wide range of mouthwatering fare with some great delicacies that will be on offer.
